Here are a few different model that have been made sorry there is no videos but i have been having problems trying to upload them on here but these links will take you straight to the videos on youtube. a few are of modelling characters but some others are for just random things.

Basic Storyboard
After getting the overall designs of what i wanted my character to look like in the most basic of forms before 3D we had to create a storyboard for what our animatic was going to consist of and storyboards for the most part have never been my strongest point i have always hated doing them just because of how time consuming they are to produce for me because i like things to look just how i want them to before im finished with which to be honest is never really. but for this one i decide to just make it rough not spend as much time on it and just use it as a guide for future work.
So here are the images for said storyboard.
After i had finished this i put my character drawing into and tried to make it look the best it could but to be honest i hated the way it looked but for this task i had to deal with it. This is where i made the decision to move more toward character based work in cinema 4D i had looked ata few different characters on youtube i know i would be able to get to the level of these but somewhere along the lines would be nice. i might pup a few examples on here from youtube but probably just links.
Baby Steps
After finishing up on my hand drawn character walk animation i decided i wanted to move more toward robotic characters and the way they could possibly transform, i first started with a lot of hand drawn ideas of what i could possibly look like and also doing some research into things like transformers but then again i knew i didn't want to go that detailed and wouldn't be able to achieve that anyway with my curent knowledge in the industry and with the software. I say software because i do eventually want to make this character in 3D using cinema 4d but i have know history or knowledge of this program.
I will say this just for the record there were intended to be very rough and have the smallest amount of detail and basically just rough out the simplest idea for how something could look and also transform.
But here are some of the drawing that i have done for the initial idea.
Another thing that i would like to point out is that the choices i made with the shapes and the overal designs of my character were heavily influenced and also hindered by the story and original idea that i had for this animation and that was to have a xbox transform and move around a room, but after designing that character and then moving on with other processes i realised i would have to change my overall idea of start thing about actual components in a xbox and how to make real moving parts from them that would make sense in a robot and i wasn't about to dismantle my xbox.

Learning to walk!
Here are some of the drawing i did for my 2.5 D walk cycle animation this was the first real steps i have taken into animation in the most literal sense of the word in this case, we just needed to produce a walk cycle but i thought i would spruce it up a bit by adding some character customisation.
some of the concept designs for my very first walk cycle trying to keep it simple enough in the basic shape of the character i don't want to get to lost in the detail and end up making lots of mistakes.

Research for Walk Cycle
Here is image to show some of the things that i was researching to understand walk cycles and how the body should move in all of the different steps for a full walk cycle. Along with the images below i also looked at some photos of real people walking and also some run cycles for animal it really makes you think how much is actually involved in just walking!

First CAD Lesson Cinema 4D
I forgot to put this up a few days ago but we were introduced to the world of 3D animation with the program named Cinema 4D which is pretty amazing we didn't really go all the in-depth with anything specific mainly just how to set us the render setting and some basic camera moves within a scene.
Here are two screen caps of just a few of the render setting that you can chose from or adjust to your desired setup.
Click the link below to be taken to a video on youtube of a basic camera move, i didn't render anything out with a camer move in unfortunately maybe next post.

John walk cycle!
I recorded John walking past the camera in a straight line to use as reference to draw over the top to get a realistic looking walk cycle animation, to capture the images i used a program called dragon captured which allows you to capture multiple images and combine them together to get a smooth animation. I also used a peg bar which helps you keep all the frames lined up but you can also use onion mod eon the program that reduced the opacity of the current frame so you can see the one previous. here is the result!
